Submissions - The Cupid Diaries
"Moments in Time"
An exciting development, and CRR's "answer" to the conventional newsletter, The Cupid Diaries are now a reality! We've looked long and hard for a way to provide "more marketing mileage" for our authors, beyond the scope of a traditional newsletter, and have come up with a concept that will provide wonderful promotion as well as put a bit in the pocket... Our first "issue", "Moments in Time" (released 20th February 2010) made it possible for all our authors to contribute their short stories. Submissions are now open for the second anthology... Capture forever romance from the past, the present or the future, and we'll put it all together in a "CRR Author Anthology" which we will offer for sale in our bookstore, which will soon be upgraded as a fully fledged "buy-site"... We will look, depending on the response, at the possibility of print but this should not be considered an accomplished fact.

"Rules, Rights and Royalties"
It's important to clarify these up front to avoid confusion, misunderstanding and disagreements...
- Authors will retain the rights to their stories. This means that they may use them for marketing and promotion purposes.
- CRR asks only that, when doing so, authors provide a buy link to the website.
- The reason for this is simple. CRR will cover the costs of editing, obtaining the ISBN number, etc. and will market the anthology through Classic Promotions. A buy link when doing personal promotion is a fair "exchange"
- Royalties will be split equally between the contributing authors and CRR. The exact percentages will obviously depend on the number of contributing authors.
- As we use the services of 2Checkout for payment processing, we will be able to issue full royalty statements to all our contributing authors.
We realise this is a little "different", so if you have any questions or would like to discuss anything, please feel free to email us on
